Good news from CrackBerry that RIM is expected that the new BlackBerry 5.0 Firmware update in the coming week in October 28th.BlackBerry release will be running OS 5.0 includes the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8200, Curve 8330, Curve 8350i, Curve 8900, Bold 9000, Tour 9630, and as previously reported, the BlackBerry Storm.Other than stating that RIM OS 5.0 will not be able to work it with less than 64 MB of memory. This means that the Curve 8310, BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8200, a Curve 8330, 8350i, 8900, Bold, or 9000, OS 5.0, you are capable. The Storm 9500, Tour 9630 and Curve 8520 and 8320 will not be able to obtain this update. The phones are just too old to 5.0, without slowing down to treat a crawl.
