Cyber Monday sales 2009 good sales.The Comscore has released their data from the first thirty days of the November-December 2009 shopping season. with customers have spent $12.26 billion on the holiday season so far. This is a 3% increase over where we were at the same point in time last year. On Cyber Monday alone, consumers spent $887 million at online retailers. That’s up 5% over last year.Comscore attributes this growth to an increase in the number of people buying online. Average spending per buyer was down somewhat. The number of online shoppers, however, was up 6% to a total of 8.7 million. The average amount spent per shopper declined 2%, to $102.19.
